The Perpetual Pilgrim is about my journey along a spiritual path, its twists and turns, highs and lows and what I’ve learned along the way. Now is the time to share what I’ve experienced so far and the insights and gifts my teachers have given me. I invite you to come and share my past journeys and join me in my future adventures both in my mind and heart and in the world.
I’m a mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend who finds happiness in these relationships and in the little things of life. I live a simple, quiet life in the shadow of the Great Smoky Mountains. I love reading, walking, yoga, cats and opera. I’m a ballet and violin mom to two twenty-something daughters. I always love to have a plane reservation to my next adventure. I’ve traveled to all 50 states, Canada, Europe, Middle East, Africa, South and Central America. I have a BS in Education from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and in 2019 I completed a MA is Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. In the twenty years I have been actively involved in the consciousness movement, I have been able to study with many great teachers. I have studied Tarot, Mediumship and Mastery with Rachael Salley, Egyptian Mythology, Theosophy, Channeling and Sacred Sites with Page Bryant, Native American Shamanism with Peter Calhoun, Peruvian Shamanism with Amaru Li, Egyptology and Astrology with Mary Lomando. The last ten years I have hosted internationally recognized teachers, shamans and intuitives in East Tennessee. I also organize small group sacred sites tours. I hope that this blog will give you information, stories and resources that help you along your own pilgrim’s path of discovery. Evans, At last -what a gift to have this blog for the online community!! As a local community member I can attest to the many great talents Evans has shared with us over the years opening her heart and home. Evans is not only well traveled and experienced she brings valuable wisdom and teaching from her training-an excellent guide to anyone making a personal pilgrimage to gain spiritual growth in their own lives. If you have managed to find this blog-remember there are no accidents-you are right where you need to be!
Evans, What an honor it is for me to be your friend. As an accidental student of the Universal truth, your knowledge and patient sharing of it has unlocked much serenity and comfort for me. As I am sure it has for all you the souls you share your time and spirit with. I agree, there are no accidents!
I do not think I could say what I feel any better than the comments preceding mine. Thank you, Evans! … No accidents, indeed!
Hello there,
talk about “no accidents” – I know I was meant to find your blog….
Initially, I Googled images of the pink panther – which led me to your blog on pink crystal bunnies !!
Then I spotted a thumbnail image – which may or may not have been taken in Egypt…
I clicked anyway…yep – it was taken in Egypt.
Today I’ve been writing a letter to Russell Byrne’s mother Gwen. We were on the telephone last night discussing an Egyptian Spirit influence she knows of. I was writing to her today, to tell her more about him. I know of your friend Rachael, through Gwen.
Gwen and I met last September. We agreed I should help her publish her 2nd book – all about Russell and his continuing Spiritual development, activities and influence with all of us here !
Rachael features very strongly in Gwen’s new book – as a great friend, who shared some amazing experiences.
I am so glad to have connected with you today !!!
Best wishes,
Karl 🙂
